The castle in Adrano, and the surrounding area, attracts a large number of visitors every year. The castle was founded in 1070 by the noble Norman Roger I. It is an imposing rectangular building complete with barrel-vaulted rooms and is divided into several floors. These include the Chapel of the Countess Adelasio on the second floor, which is quite remarkable. Also here is the Museo Etnoantropologico, or ethno-anthropological museum, which exhibits artefacts by local artisans.
