The unusual building in the town of Canosa di Puglia is known as the Casieri Tower and dates back to the 2nd Century. This type of construction is also often called a cube tomb. On the outside, the funereal monument is covered with bricks and is made up of three overlapping parts - a basement, a central area, and a small round tambour. The concrete barrel vault can be seen on the inside.
