The Basilica of S. Saturnino is a Palaeochristian Church. It was built sometime between the 5th and 6th centuries on the site where, according to legend, Saint Saturnino was martyred. It has been recently restored and is one of the most ancient cult centres in all Sardinia and can be found in an area of great archaeological interest. This really is an ancient church and is one of the most important early Christian art monuments in the Mediterranean basin.
