The Ascoli Satriano Town Museum is home to many fine archaeological finds from the 9th Century B.C. up to the Middle Ages. The ‘Pasquale Rosario’ numismatic collection gives a fantastic incite into the history of money, with particular reference to the local mint that operated during the pre-Roman era. Another collection displays Daunian jugs with geometric decorations, pieces of Greek pottery from the 5th and 3rd Century B.C., bronze necklaces and fibulas. Entrance is free of charge.
