Argegno can be found in the Intelvi valley which reaches down to Lake Como. The Telo River here flows rapidly under a very ancient single arched bridge; it is surrounded by a pretty wooded area but is still very much part of the town. Just approaching Argegno you get the sense of typical Italy, with its red tiled roofs familiar all over Northern Italy and especially in Venice. In a wooded inlet there is a charming holiday park very popular with tourists as well as lovely views of the lake.
