The Archaeological Museum in Bovino exhibits include many fascinating finds from the Neolithic to Middle Ages such as amphorae, fragments of weapons, jugs, axes and oil lamps. In another section there is a collection of coins beginning from the 3rd Century B.C. up to the 16th Century B.C. Another fascinating collection is a set of anthropomorphic steles from the 3rd millennium B.C. It also has several lithic finds, axes, mills, pickaxes and blades, Roman and Medieval epigraphs and Daunian ceramics items. Entrance to the museum is free of charge.
