The Archaeological Museum is housed in an 18th Century former monastery. It displays exhibits from the Roman period including cooking equipment, bronzes, glass, needles, buttons, loom weights, foundry ladles, jewels, games, and a complete scribe’s set. Tomb relics include an amber statue and a ceramic sparrow figurine. Of note is the 3-4th Century bust of Giove Dolicheno and a bronze horse breastplate. Underground there is an archaeological route along a section of Roman wall corresponding to the Northern side and gate. There is also a display of the remains of a building, probably a granary located near the Forum.
