The Chiesa di S. Filippo d’Agira retains its beautiful 18th Century façade by Francesco Battaglia. The Mother Church, built in the 16th Century, is dedicated to the Madonna della Catena. It contains fine works including a painting by Vasta. The Church of Santa Lucia was originally built in the 16th Century and later rebuilt. It has frescoes dedicated to the Virgin and to S. Anna. Of note is the large dome of the Chiesa di S. Giuseppe and the majolica pavement of the the Chiesa dell’Eremo di S. Anna. Another fine building is the 17th Century Palazzo Riggio di Campofiorito.
